Some shots of the desert cactus blooms that are still happening despite the heat. And one last look at the thrasher young ‘uns.
Irises are in full bloom as well as the wildflowers in the greenbelt.
Our local goat herding service helping with weed control, a camouflaged coyote, baby bull snake slithering on the road and a spooky tarantula on the march in search of a mate (that time of year for the spider’s migrations).
The sphinx moths are about as close to fireworks as I will get today.
Another visit and it is much more lush with the rain we’ve had. Lot’s of butterflies, flowers and gurgling streams.
Bees are enjoying the zinnia blooms and the hummingbirds are still fighting over the feeder.
