Sunset and smoke 5_15_22
I realized I hadn’t got around to posting the smoke and sunset shots from the night of the eclipse. Lots of smoke columns that day and a very smoky evening.
Birds, flowers and more smoke…
More smoke billowing over the mountains. Also… our first Iris bloom for 2022 and a shot of a passing Raven. Finally, another timelapse of the pyrocumulus (or flammagenitus cumulus) clouds from Casa Jabo.
Fire is getting a bit too close 5_10_22.
Noticed clouds sprouting over the Sangres this afternoon. A flare up somewhere on the West side of the Hermit Creek Fire. Gone by sunset but still unsettling. This fire is now spreading North at a pretty good clip. Thankfully it … Continue reading
