Some shots of the desert cactus blooms that are still happening despite the heat. And one last look at the thrasher young ‘uns.
Irises are in full bloom as well as the wildflowers in the greenbelt.
The cowpens are beginning to fade as the evening temps are dropping and the rain has taken a break. Nice rainbow to finish it off.

Our piñon trees are lousy with pine cones and new shoots. Glad to see these old trees are hanging on despite the drought.
Another visit and it is much more lush with the rain we’ve had. Lot’s of butterflies, flowers and gurgling streams.
