These beasts flew directly over our casa this morning. They were Marine choppers flying out to the West coast. We normally have Blackhawks out of the local National Guard unit flying training runs over our neighborhood; these guys were much bigger. Despite their lethality, I gotta admit I’m am in awe of them. Sadly, they don’t have a good safety record.
And no… they are not the “sound of freedom” anymore than machine gun fire is.
