Iridescent clouds and sunset followed by a sorta full Moon (wow… I missed the eclipse!). This evening’s post is dedicated to our wonderful Seester Cary.

Wild weather in the City Different and much needed rain.

Nice clouds but sadly… no rain : (

Brought our friends visiting from out-of-town to see part of our preserve. Very nice hike to a river bed and interesting geologic formations.

They are good at camouflage and Joan nearly stepped on this one while we were on our morning walk! In the Youtube video, you can see him using his tongue to track his path. Incredible creatures who keep the mouse and rat populations in check. It’s probably looking for that bunny I saw yesterday!

By this afternoon, he and his 4 children will be chowing down on our newly planted garden!

Doing a lot of landscaping so I almost missed the first bloom in the garden!

A pair of male Black Chinned Hummingbirds are sharing our feeder without incessant fighting. Things are dry.

Marls has taken up hanging out above my mouse pad because it’s that much easier to get a scratch. Old age has its perks.

Forgot to post this one earlier. Sunset with evening jets heading in to ABQ.
