Black-chinned Hummingbird 4_28_20
Three of these fellows are now fighting over the feeder. They are also doing the mating flight where they dive and ascend in a u-shape over a resting female while making a buzzing noise. Fun to watch.

A pair of this season’s first scaled quail appeared at our bird bath and this one was especially proud!

Brought the camera along in case the bald eagle was in the neighborhood. He was a no show but other critters were out.

Thrasher aria.
A short clip of the thrasher that was serenading me while I was photographing the sunset. You can here another group of birds twittering in the background. Now that Spring is here, it’s getting very musical outside!
